AUTHOR INSTRUCTIONS FOR TECHNICAL SESSIONS
Paper Submission and Registration
SUBMISSION DEADLINE: 23 August, 2004
NOTE: EDAS is not being used for collection of the Final Papers. You will be using IEEE Conference express to upload your source file for conversion to an IEEE Xplore-compliant PDF.
1. Go to Author Instructions and Paper Submissions. If you have trouble with the link paste the following URL into your browser: http://www.ieee.org/conferencepublishing

Read all instructions before
submitting your file.
Submission deadline is 23 August 2004.
2. Before actually uploading your paper, proofread your source file one more time.
Note: The page limit is 10 pages. Accepted papers that are longer than 10 pages will be charged an over-length fee. If your paper is longer than 10 pages please complete the Overlength Form and remit it with payment. Papers over 12 pages will not be accepted. Short papers are limited to 6 pages, and no extra pages will be allowed.
3. After uploading your source file, submit your copyright form. Note: No paper can be printed without a copyright transfer from at least one of the paper's coauthors. Submission deadline is 23 August 2004.

NEW
IEEE/COMSOC POLICY: All SECON 2004
technical paper presenters must register at the FULL member/non-member rate.
For authors presenting multiple papers, one FULL member/non-member registration
is valid for up to three papers.
Special Concession for SECON 2004 Student Presenters: A student member
presenting a single paper can register at the STUDENT MEMBER rate. A student
member presenting multiple papers must register at the FULL member rate.

Audio Visual
There will be a LCD projector, overhead projector and laser pointer in each presentation room.
You will need to bring your own laptop to use the LCD projector.

Into The US - VISA Assistance
Visa applications are now subject to a greater degree
of scrutiny than in the past. For many applicants, a personal appearance
interview is required as a standard part of visa processing. Additionally,
applicants affected by these procedures are informed of the need for additional
screening at the time they submit their applications and are being advised to
expect delays. See the information in the Visa Assistance section of the Web
site for more information
Reprints
If you would to receive reprints of your paper please compete the
Reprint Order Form and submit it with the appropriate payment by 1 November
2004
