Fourth Annual IEEE Communications Society Conference on Sensor,
Mesh and Ad Hoc Communications and Networks SECON 2007
Merged with IEEE International Workshop on Wireless Ad-hoc and Sensor Networks (IWWAN)
June 18-21, 2007, San Diego, California, USA
Submission Instructions
The conference will only consider original papers for review
that have not been previously published or are not currently under review by
another conference or journal. The submissions will be reviewed for technical
merits and relevance to the conference. Accepted papers will be published in the
conference proceedings by the IEEE.
Preparing Your Manuscript:
Manuscripts must be formatted according to the IEEE double-column standard
format, except the font size, which must be 11pt. Authors should use only
standard fonts. The maximum length of the manuscripts for full papers is 10
pages, including all text, figures, tables and references.
All papers must be submitted in PDF (Portable Document Format). Postscript and
MSWord files should be converted to PDF before submission.
The IEEE LaTeX and Microsoft Word style files and the related information can be
obtained from the
IEEE Site. Please use font size of 11pt and do not exceed the page length
limits. Please ensure that page numbers are printed. This can be done in LaTeX
with the IEEEtrans.cls package by using "\documentclass[]{IEEEtrans}" in the
LaTeX preamble. Author bios need not be included in submitted papers.
Special note: authors are strongly discouraged from changing the style
guide in order to squeeze more text into the 10 page limit. Guidelines will be
checked automatically and papers with significant deviations from the above
instructions and limits will be rejected.
Submission Instructions:
Paper submission is managed by the
EDAS system. If you
do not have an EDAS
account, please create one first. To submit a paper to SECON 2007, please first
register your paper with the
EDAS system. Please
indicate the appropriate "Topics Keywords" when registering your paper, choosing
the topics that are closest to the paper
contents (at most two). Upon successful registration, you will receive
instructions for uploading your paper to the system. Note that paper
registration is due November 30, 2006 by 11:59pm PST. The full paper must be
submitted for review by December 7, 2006 at 11:59pm PST.
Papers that have been improperly submitted or improperly formatted by the
submission date will not be considered. To avoid last minute problems, authors
are advised to submit their papers well before the deadline. Thank you for your
understanding.
